Tips & Tactics
Sunfish fishermen should concentrate on small coves with sandy or gravel shorelines in the spring and summer. Nightcrawlers, shrimp, and stinkbait are popular baits for catfish at Lake Sweetwater. White bass are caught by trolling crankbaits in the spring and summer. In late summer, look for schools of surface-feeding white bass, especially in the upper end of Bitter Creek.
